The week your coding agent learned to make games
A game-building service, an art workspace, and a character platform all became operable from the coding agent you already use.
The MCP wave hit game tooling all at once. In a single week, a game-building service, an art workspace, and a character platform all became operable from the coding agent you already use. The theme is not more generators; it is agents getting hands.
Phaser Game Agent joins your coding tools
A week after launch, Phaser Game Agent added MCP support. Connect it to Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Windsurf and ask for a game without leaving your coding tool: the service generates code, art, and music, verifies the result, and returns a shareable play URL. Projects export for web, Windows, macOS, or Linux. Setup is free and build time starts at a cent per minute. Inspect a generated project before adopting it; quality and asset rights vary with scope.
Scenario opens its workspace to agents
Scenario shipped an MCP server exposing more than 60 workspace tools and 550 models to coding agents. An agent can pick models, run generations, compare results, and organize assets while keeping your team's custom models and settings. The shift is orchestration: describe a goal, supervise the sequence, review the output. Available operations depend on your plan and how you authenticate.
Convai wires AI characters into Unreal
Convai's Unreal integration now speaks MCP, so Codex or Claude Code can handle much of the setup around an embodied character: avatar connection, real-time conversation with lip sync and facial animation, navigation, and gameplay actions. It removes plumbing, not design. The character brain stays hosted on Convai's service, so check runtime pricing and latency before shipping.
FL Studio 2026 makes its assistant hands-on
Gopher went from answering questions to operating the DAW: organizing tracks, setting levels, routing audio, and generating Piano roll scripts from plain language. Audio Logger keeps the last 60 seconds of master output recoverable, and the rebuilt FLEX is lighter with 200+ new presets. The update is free under FL Studio's lifetime-updates policy. This is the writing layer; Wwise or FMOD still owns the runtime side.
PixelAOI draws into a running Godot game
PixelAOI is a new pixel-art editor whose best idea is a live Godot link: brush strokes and frame edits push into a running project as you draw. It bundles cel animation, tilemaps, hitbox editing, node effects, and native exports for Godot, Unity, Unreal Paper2D, Spine, and Tiled. Windows-only and in development, free for six months, then 17 dollars once.
Runway Dev
Runway packaged its media models as a developer platform: one API for image, video, audio, and custom workflows, plus real-time interactive Characters that combine conversation, voice, a knowledge base, and tool calling. For prototyping an interactive avatar without assembling five services, it is a fast route. Whether it holds up as a game runtime depends on latency, moderation, and cost under real player load; verify before you commit.
Also worth your time
Suno rebuilt its lyrics editor with a Lyricist profile trained on your own writing, line-level edits, and song-structure labels. AWS published a blueprint for an autonomous Unity QA agent that reasons over live game state through AltTester; the framework is not yet released and the documented setup runs around 760 dollars a month, so read it as a direction, not a product. Unbound's Loop is exploring real-time AI sculpting in the browser; check export quality before relying on it. And Godot 4.8 dev 1 docks the game view inside the editor by default.
Reply and tell us which agent integration you would actually wire in.

Scenario
Best for small teams who need on-style concept art and 2D assets at volume.
Convai
Best for adding talking, reactive NPCs to a game without wiring up five AI services.
FL Studio
Best for scoring and sound-design iteration when you want editable sessions, not just generated tracks.
PixelAOI
Best for 2D devs who want animation, hitboxes, and exports in one loop with a live line into Godot.
Suno
Best for placeholder or shipped soundtracks when you don't have a composer.
