The funding wave and a swarm of AI-3D agents

Tripo and Suno raised enormous rounds within days of each other, and the AI-3D agents kept coming.

A wild first week of June. Two of the biggest names in generative media raised enormous rounds within days of each other, and the AI-3D agents kept coming.

Big money: Tripo's $200M and Suno's $400M

Tripo raised roughly $200M and used the moment to unveil Project Eden, a world model for persistent, editable, multiplayer 3D environments. Days later, Suno raised a $400M Series D led by Bond, more than doubling its valuation in months. The capital is chasing the same thesis: generative tools are becoming infrastructure for how games and media get made.

Agents and open models

Meshy 3D Agent (beta)

Meshy opened the beta of a chat-driven agent that takes you from idea to editable 3D asset in conversation, rather than through a form. The asset stays editable, which is the difference between a toy and a tool.

SAM 3D Objects open release completes

Meta finished the open release of SAM 3D Objects, dropping the encoder weights, a benchmark, and a leaderboard. Good news for anyone building on top of single-image 3D reconstruction.

Scenario adds Gemini and Grok

Scenario integrated frontier image and video models from Google and xAI, added within days of their own releases, so you can use the newest models inside one asset pipeline.

Godot games, built on Android

GABE reached stable, letting you build, export, and publish Godot games entirely from a phone or XR headset. A genuinely novel mobile-first dev path.

Catch your breath. The engines are up next.
