If there was a theme this week, it was AI quietly showing up inside tools you already use, from CAD to character creation to the browser.

Echo-2 and AI rigging in Flow Studio

SpAItial announced Echo-2, a browser-based world generator that adds object-level editing and floor-plan-to-3D. Being able to select and edit individual objects in a generated scene, in the browser, is a real step up from the one-shot world generators.

Autodesk's Flow Studio answered with AI Rigging and a Neural Layer that can auto-rig generated characters and export them to Maya, Blender, and Unreal. Generating a character is one thing. Getting it rigged and into your engine is the part that usually eats the afternoon.
