Phaser Game Agent exports your code, Nomad Sculpt links to Blender, Tencent backs W4 Games
Games made in Phaser Game Agent can now leave the browser as TypeScript source, Nomad Sculpt live-links a tablet to desktop Blender, and Tencent leads an $18M round in the company behind commercial Godot support.
A week about getting your work out of one place and into another. The Phaser Game Agent now hands you your game's source code, Nomad Sculpt can stream a sculpt from a tablet straight into Blender, and Godot's commercial side picked up a large investment. Two smaller updates help with music and retopology.
Phaser Game Agent now exports your game as source code
Games built with the Phaser Game Agent, the browser tool that writes a Phaser game from your prompts, can now be exported as TypeScript source, the code behind the game, with type definitions and the exact Phaser version used. That removes the biggest lock-in worry for first-time devs who start in the agent: a prototype can move to your own machine and your own repo, and keep growing there.
The catch is that setting up a bundler, dev server and code editor (the tools that build, run and edit a web game on your own machine) around the exported project is on you, which can be a real hurdle if the agent was your first contact with code. The update also adds Grok 4.6, which Phaser calls its cheapest and fastest model option, and Meta's Muse Spark 1.2, which Phaser says is strong at 3D spatial and isometric logic. Phaser says the next major version of the agent, with a Game Design Agent built in, is close.
Nomad Sculpt live-links a tablet to Blender
Nomad Sculpt is a sculpting and vertex painting app for iPad and Android tablets. According to its developer and 80 Level's coverage, version 2.9.24 can sync with desktop Blender over the same network, so sculpting and vertex painting (color and material painted straight onto the mesh) show up in Blender in real time and Blender edits sync back. Setup needs a Python script from GitHub and Blender's extensions system, so Blender 4.2 or newer. Nomad is a one-time purchase on iOS and Android, which makes this an inexpensive way for a newcomer to sculpt on a couch and finish the asset on a desktop.
Tencent leads an $18M round in W4 Games
W4 Games, the company founded by Godot's creators that sells commercial support and console porting help, raised an $18M Series B led by Tencent, bringing its total to $33M. It also signed a multi-year partnership to grow Godot in Asia through localization and developer support. W4 says it will grow headcount by about 50 percent and keep sending its enterprise work upstream to the open-source engine. Nothing changes for Godot users today, and Godot itself stays free and open source, but it is a clear signal that money is flowing into the engine's ecosystem.
Also worth your time
- FL Studio 2026.1.5 adds a Remix a song option that splits a track into stems in the Playlist with one click, a chord detection panel, and FL Cloud project backups for every customer, with 500 MB free. Image-Line says the rebuilt FLEX synth uses up to 50% less CPU. Splitting a song you do not own does not give you the rights to ship it.
- Smart Remesh is a $15 Blender add-on for retopology (rebuilding a dense mesh into clean, lighter geometry) with separate organic and hard-surface modes. The hard-surface mode finds real edges and rebuilds flat panels as single faces, which suits scans, CAD imports and AI-generated meshes. It needs Blender 4.2 or later. If you would rather stay free, AutoRemesher followed last week's 1.1 with version 1.2 on August 23, with fewer stray triangles.
Reply with what you are exporting this week.
