AutoRemesher 1.0
Free auto-retopology, now MIT licensed for commercial work.
AutoRemesher, the automatic quad retopology tool from the creator of Dust3D, reached 1.0 and moved from GPLv3 to the MIT license. The author reimplemented the license-incompatible dependencies so the tool can be used freely in commercial projects. It converts dense triangle meshes and scans into clean quad topology on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and 1.0 adds adaptivity, sharp-edge, smooth-normal, and target-quads controls plus a command-line interface for batch processing. A community Blender bridge shipped alongside it. It is a batch remesher rather than interactive hand-retopo, and quad quality on hard-surface or very dense scans can be uneven, but for turning sculpts and photogrammetry into usable topology without paying for a retopo tool it is a genuine addition to a solo pipeline.
AutoRemesher
Best for solo devs turning sculpts and scans into game-ready quads without paying for a retopo tool.
