Unreal MCP in UEFN

Epic's MCP bridge for AI agents now runs inside Unreal Editor for Fortnite, as a beta.

UE
Unreal Engine 5

Epic says the Unreal MCP bridge that arrived with Unreal Engine 5.8, which lets AI coding agents read and edit a project, now runs inside Unreal Editor for Fortnite, built in with no plugin to install. Fortnite creators can point Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP-compatible agent at Verse code, Creative devices and Scene Graph entities. For small teams building islands, it is the first agent-driven editing inside Epic's creator stack. Coverage of the launch says it is switched on through Beta Access in Project Settings and that not every UE 5.8 toolset works in UEFN, so treat it as a beta. It only covers UEFN projects, and you still need to review what the agent changes.
