Tripo P2.0
Tripo's new model outputs native quad meshes, plus region-level Mesh Edit.
Tripo launched its P2.0 model, which follows the preview from August. Tripo says it is the first AI 3D generator to output native quad topology, up to 25K quad faces or 50K triangles, instead of messy triangle meshes. The full launch adds up to four variants per prompt, Mesh Edit for regenerating a selected region without redoing the whole asset, and one-click smart UVs, the layout that wraps textures onto a model. Clean quads matter if you want to rig, animate or hand-edit what the AI makes. It is usable today in the browser-based Tripo Studio. Free accounts get a small monthly credit allowance, and commercial use needs a paid plan. It also comes weeks after Tripo's roughly $446M Series B and B+ round.
