Suno's browser music editor adds MIDI, automation, effects and a beta chat bar.
Suno Studio 2.0 adds MIDI import, recording and editing with a built-in wavetable synth, drawn automation curves, effects like sidechain compression and convolution reverb, and improved stem separation. A Chat Bar, labelled beta, generates instruments, vocals and even custom effect plugins. For a solo dev scoring a game, generated tracks can now be cut into loops and stems, separate tracks for parts like drums and vocals, that fit a level, not just taken as finished songs. Studio is limited to Premier subscribers, who can export 32-bit/48kHz multitracks and stems. Suno also announced download caps from September 3: free accounts get 7 lifetime downloads for personal use only, so free-tier tracks cannot ship in a commercial game.
