Meshy raises about $400M
The largest funding round yet for an AI 3D company.
Meshy raised close to $400M at a reported $1.5B valuation, which it describes as the largest round to date for an AI 3D company, citing more than 12 million registered users and clients including Nexon and NetEase. Funding is not a feature, but at this size it is a real signal about where AI 3D generation is heading and who can keep investing in it. Alongside the raise Meshy pointed to newer work: a conversational 3D Agent in beta, 8K texture generation, and one-click part splitting for printing. For game teams the most production-relevant piece is still Smart Topology, its controllable game-ready polycount model that we covered two weeks ago. Treat the Agent and printing features as adjacent to, not central to, a game pipeline.
