An image-to-3D update with an Ultra 4K mode for much denser geometry.
Meshy 7.1 adds an Ultra 4K mode that generates geometry at 4096 cubed resolution, with raw meshes up to 80 million triangles before simplification. The point is that fine details like engravings and stitching live in the mesh instead of being painted into the texture, which helps if you sculpt over results or bake your own normal maps. Meshy says 7.1 leads its new Detail Richness benchmark; that is Meshy's own test. Registered users can try the model for free, but downloads and the Ultra 2K and 4K modes need a paid plan, and Ultra 4K works from a single image only. Meshes this dense still need decimation (cutting the triangle count) or retopology before they go into a game.
