Meshy 7 is a new image-to-3D model built around geometry alignment: Meshy says the generated mesh follows the shape and proportions of your input image more faithfully. It ships with an Ultra Mode for finer surface detail and Meshy 7 Texture for cleaner PBR materials, with multi-view input of up to four views to follow. Meshy says it beats Tripo 3.1, Hunyuan3D 3.1 and Rodin 2.5 on its own single-view benchmark, which is Meshy's test, not an independent one. Meshy also admits it still struggles with thin tangled shapes like loose hair and with exact repetition such as building facades. It went live in the web app on August 10 for all registered users, but downloading models needs a Pro plan or above.
