Reallusion's webcam face capture plugin for iClone gets a new model and a lower price.
Reallusion released AccuFace 2, the AI facial motion capture plugin for iClone, its character animation app. It records facial expressions from an ordinary webcam or recorded video and applies them to your character, now with a new capture model. Reallusion also lists expression curves for finer control, better tracking in low light and on small faces, and AMD GPU support alongside NVIDIA. The price drops to $299, $200 less than the first version, with launch discounts on top. For a solo dev already animating in iClone, this is one of the cheaper routes to usable facial animation without a mocap rig. The catch: it is a paid add-on, not a standalone tool, and it needs iClone 8.74 or later on Windows.
